Annual Canoe Regatta

Started in 2003 with introducing our Members to a Hawaiian tradition that has become an event favorite amongst old and new Members. Today canoe paddling is weaved into our Members daily routine. Each Friday Members are invited to participate in “Hui Wa‘a,” an introduction to canoe paddling for some, recreational work out or connecting with the elements for other. This prepares our Members to participate in this annual event. Winners receive trophies and the biggest recognition is a plaque on the perpetual trophy that is located at the Hualālai Canoe Club.
